LSU Basketball vs. Football expectations (Posted on 1/20/13 at 11:19 am)
It's amazing to me how some people are all over Jones for the basketball team this year after they give Miles a pass for finishing #6 in the SEC in the final polls.
This is the 1st year for Jones...he needs some time to get his players that go with his system.

Im aware of where the football team finished. What baffles me is you dont realize the amount of rantards who want les fired. People are trolling if they say they want coach jones fired.

He doesn't need to be fired but didn't need a 7 yr contract and raise either.

In the OP you said some people, you never said anything about the administration. So you were talking administration? They gave les a "pass" with his extension, do you have a link to where anyone involved with that extension said anything about coach jones being under pressure?

Fan base communicating with admin/TAF/BOS that it wasn't warranted.
Fan base communicating with same people that no change on offensive coaching side of the ball is unacceptable given the O performance in the last 3 years.

Jones ain't feelin' no heat right now. The few people left who still care are making a little noise here and some other places and they should be. His recruiting has been great but the stuff between the lines has not, and that's considering the talent on hand.
All Jones is hearing is the Dale/CT2 coalition that got him hired patting him on the back and telling him what a good job he's doing.

LSU Basketball= Total indifference. You will find these positigers rip anybody or anything that threatens to make Les Miles look bad. It could be an LSU player or coach. It doesn't matter who or what it is. They are posi-Miles in reality. I guess when Miles leaves they will stop cheering for LSU and be against the new coach. Their loyalty is only to Miles.
