Going through a DWI check point 30 seconds after I get into the car at 5 pm isn't my idea of a good time.

This seriously happened?

To the tune of 45 DWI arrests if memory serves.

I just missed that check point last year. I got pulled over the year before after I pulled onto Government St.

Staying at Belle Casino this year.

I have no desire to go again. It's like a nursing home up there.

I'll never go back after the stunt BRPD pulled last year

It's not the recruiting bash's fault for the expected low turnout this year, it's BRPD......

Same thing with bayou country superfest. Baton Rouge finally gets a good event and they go ahead and pull a checkpoint outside of the venue.

I went several years ago. I found it to be an absolute snooze fest. Nothing but old dudes sitting around waiting for an announcement of a commitment that was already posted online 30 minutes earlier. They could do it so much better.

Here is an idea....now follow me here....but maybe it IS possible to have a good time in public and not become inebriated??? Is the Bayou Bash so pathetic that you have to be drunk to enjoy it?

I'm in. Just wonderin the pulse of Tiger Nation.

I imagine there would be no pulse; anybody who takes a day off of work to hang out to see where some 18 year old kid goes to college has no life, thus rendering a pulse moot.

I went to the very first one held at Hooter's by Lee Brecheen of La. High School Football magazine and it was a LOT of fun.

I believe it was the next year it was held at Drusilla and Cecil Collins was there. It was ok - the food was good.

I went again a few years ago at the River Center and it was all day long and boring. No way I could go and sit through that again.

If we hire an OC

This won't matter.

Yes I got a ticket but might be too busy at work. Its a good time but not great. I never have gone GA-GA abut an 18 year old decieding to come to LSU. It never matters until the COACHES can develop him into an SEC type player.

Beer all day
Some of BR best food all day
Tons LSU memrbila to bid on
Former player interviews
Game replays

You forgot the part about the 30 minute lines to get a beer.
