I am sure it has been discussed before, but wanted some opinions.

I love Chris's. Never had something there that was bad. Only been to Tramonte's a few times, but seems to not have near the selection or quality of Chris's, although I hear their beef is supposedly good.

I think I could live the rest of my life eating only Tiger Sausage from Chris's.

Anyone else in town that is good? Would like everyone's opinions.

For what?
I'm spoiled, I travel the state, so I can pick up some smoked sausage in Ville Platte one day and smoked andouille in LePlace the next.

Pick up my homemade Tasso in Springfield one day and my boudin in Scott the next.

Or order my sliced pastrami from Mr. Carl here in Denham Springs at Randazzo's deli and market, or my prime rib in NOLA

I'm a big fan of Chris'. Great steaks and stuffed chickens.
Tramonte's hamburgers are no joke, however.

See, I tried it twice and both times it was over cooked and dry IMO. Both times had almost crunchy diced onions in the meat. Would much rather make the burger myself. I make a really good burger with a feta cheese ball on it.
