As he is watching the events unfold on camera, does he think mentally check himself with the thought that "...if there’s even one life that can be saved, then we’ve got an obligation to try.”?

I'm sure no one thinks he physically presses the button himself but I do remember reading that even on the campaign trail he took a very special interest in watching the strikes live. I'm on KY phone so I don't want to search out a link but that article helped start a movement about Obama actually enjoying these strikes.

I can't imagine being one of the Airmen whose job it is to go to base everyday and operate the drones like it's a video game. Has to be very unsettling.
