Sorry .. I jumped the gun .. Some work is being done there and I want to say we discussed it here before .. But I can't not find the thread .. What's going in there ??

Yeah, someone def. posted it here that a friend was opening a restaurant. I can't think of the name, but I remember when I read it that it was nothing I was all that excited about.

The people that own New Orleans Hamburger bought it for a new concept. They plan some kind of coffee shop with small meeting/office rooms. I think they mostly purchased it to keep away the competition (Five Guys, ect)

I pretty sure it is not. I haven't seen cars at Huey's in quite a while.

It was strange. Seemed like they opened and closed, then opened again. Now it looks dead.
Didn't hear many good stories.

hmmm. I was at Dorignac's not long ago and the parking lot was full. Maybe it was overflow from somewhere else.

You may be right, but I just did a quick google search and found a few things that said it was closed. Urban Spoon was one such site.

From what I hear it is a pretty nice building that was very well built. Should be a good spot for some place to settle in.
