Our guys get busted for pot, fights, skipping classes etc. While not condonable, the behavior is somewhat understandable given their age.

I'm glad we don't get involved in elaborate hoaxes that call into question our mentality and reason. If something like this had happened at LSU, I guarantee we would get zero benefit of doubt.

Reason number 4555567656 to be an LSU fan.

Cecil Collins just called. He said "I just wanted to watch her sleep".

But but but but Miles has absolutely no discipline of this team and is completely losing control of everything.

Given where ND is in this mess, I'm absolutely thrilled this isn't LSU in trouble.

Our guys get kicked off the team. He wouldn't be kicked of the team. I'm having trouble understanding your reasoning.

I'd take someone who lights up over someone that's about to be a millionaire but can only get a girlfriend off the internet who he never met

So Manti' Teo, star football player at Notre Dame has to get a girlfriend off the internet?

So he doesn't have an actual girlfriend?

Just a guess, but I'm thinking the explanation will turn into a "coming out" news conference. At least that would explain his making up a girlfriend. Even having her die of cancer would help to explain her not being around.

That's the only motive I can think of for his participating in a hoax like that. And it's the only plot twist that get's him out of hot water with the media as far as I can see.

Whenever the first two words of a comment are "at Least" I try to ignore what follows.
