4 years - went from 24th in NFL in yards allowed to 4th. went from 25th in points per game allowed, to 1st. He was hired by Jim Mora as Seahawks DC, and then rehired/kept by Carroll.

well, Montee Kiffin made phone calls on his behalf to get him the Seahawks DC job. That was a pretty good recommendation coming from a guy who had been an NFL DC for 15 years prior to that recommendation.
