Anyone have one? Probably make a good SHTF weapon considering they're so cheap. Have thought about getting one.

Just about any modern rifle would be a better SHTF rifle than a Nagant

I've thought about it. If I ever have a hundred bucks burning a hole in my pocket when I see some for sale I'll probably get one just cause.

They're fun, but the recoil is so bad it takes 2 minutes off your life every time you fire it.

I'd like to have one just to have it. I love WW2 weapons. My brother hunts with one, well he switches out with all of his war guns.

J&G has the Chinese version of the M44 or carbine version for $129. 91/30 makes a tremendously accurate rifle, especially for a 100 year old firearm. That said, get a huge butt pad because that metal one feels like getting hit in the shoulder with a 5lbs sledge.

pawn shop here in shreveport has one for $169.99. It looks like it might have actually been used in WWII.

I got one back during the summer. Bought it for 92 bucks, included bayonet, oil can, cleaningkit and belt pouch to hold it all. And it shoots pretty dadgum good.

IMO any Russian combat weapon is great for a SHTF gun. Russian stuff is always very robust and durable and ammo tends to be cheap.

Wish I had one just to frick off with. Another gun is always a good thing. A $100 gun is fantastic.
