Everyone knows that Congress isn't doing anything. Unless another crime like Sandy Hook occurs I predict this entire topic will be old news in a few weeks, if not before. I think there are other topics more important to Obama that he is willing to fight for.

I agree 100% he was forced into this by the massacre, he then gave the job to his lackey Joe. He's gearing up for the debt ceiling. That said I don't think it'd make much of a difference if he did try to corral support. I don't see him and congress agreeing on anything, Regardless of the consequences.

King Barack I doesn't want to spend any capital NOW. But each time we have a mass shooting, he will attempt to introduce more and more strict gun laws than what have already been passed. It's a slow trickle.
But you are correct for the time being. King Barack I is punting on gun control so he can work up the Alinsky style tactics for the upcoming issues of immigration and the debt ceiling.
