What is the best value .223 round that I can purchase in bulk? Looking for something with a brass casing that I can get 1,000 rounds of at a discounted price, but won't jam my AR.

c'mon brah...

seriously, this isn't something I am trying to do today, this week or even this month. I've already spoken to one gun dealer who has 500,000 rounds being delivered in the next week and he will will hold 1,000 rounds for me for $499, but I'm pretty sure I can order some for less. I just want to make sure I get the best value.

I am pretty sure you can't. 1000 rds is going on GB right now for 650-800.

For .50 a round I would by all I could afford. I may even take out a mortgage.

That is the best price you will probably find right now. 0.50 a round is good considering the condtions right now. I would like to know who your guy is cause I would like to buy some too. Thanks my email is cboudreaux08@gmail.com

If that is brass, that price isn't terrible for current market conditions.

You can't find 10 rounds at a reasonable price right now.

Seriously - prices on ammo will be relatively back to normal by April 1 - ~$300 plus shipping per 1000 bulk. US military consumption of 5.56mm is down. Some of those production lines can make millions in a month.
