| TX AG buys NYT e-ads in wake of gun control bill passage (Posted on 1/16/13 at 3:43 pm)
LINK / I'm a huge Greg Abbott fan... Ready for his gubernatorial run. Pretty funny stuff. Though I'd rather the yankees stay put.

Attorney General Greg Abbott Wednesday launched a Google web ad campaign inviting New Yorkers who feel their gun rights are threatened by a new law just signed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, to move to Texas where they will have the right to bear arms, and, with lower taxes, more money to buy ammo.
I wish Alabama would do the same, but focus more on the gun manufacturers in that freedomless state.

Abbott has been a one-man wrecking crew the past year or so. Setting himself up nicely. His campaign donations certainly haven't hurt either.

Heard on Fox that Rand Paul has already filed a bill that would FREEZE FUNDING for any of Obama's edicts. Rand's got his old man's cahonnies.

You and me both. Would love to see every business with any ties to firearms move south. The Gov. Needs to put together an incentives package together to help draw them here.

In State manufacturing has legal advantages. Easier to draw the line. Will be nice when we don't have to worry about this crap anymore. Who'd have dreamed this stuff 20 years ago.

Illinois has been giving their gun manufacturers some problems too (and their gun laws are quite strict). He should buy a few ads up there too. (And to an earlier poster, Alabama -- actually, any Southern state -- should be recruiting these business to come down South)

I had this discussion earlier today. Why haven't those gun manufacturers moved to firearm friendly states? Kimber is in NY, Colt in CT, S&W in Mass, Remington is up there somewhere. I don't understand it.

That is pretty hilarious. Wonder how much it cost.... Could have a lot of fun with those.
