last seafood "platter" I got was at Parrains which I believe is owned by the same people that run the chimes, It was good, too much food. The Catfish basket at Georges is pretty good.

I like to call it a French Fry platter.

Jones Creek Cafe has a pretty good fried seafood platter. The couple of times I've been out there, I liked the food. Cheap as hell too.

Mike Anderson's has a pretty good broiled seafood platter. It's better than the fried seafood platter there.

And that's probably the last place that I had one. It rarely disappoints.

Need to go to Parrain's soon. Haven't been in years. When I was a kid, we used to make trips to BR from laffy just to eat there

Shiiiiiiiiiiit. Most of the times I've been there sheriff's deputies were directing traffic in the parking lot. That's probably one of the safest places in BR.

I don't just say this because I worked there.. I think Dempsey's does DAMN good fries seafood.

I am a fan of oysters, and the ones I had at Sammy's recently were

I enjoy the seafood at Parrain's, and it's plenty for one person, but definitely not as big as Dempseys. Seafood Platter (when I was growing up, at least) was something two adults could split. Jones and I, who are not big eaters at all, finished the Parrain's seafood platter easily and weren't uncomfortably full.
Still.. their fried seafood tastes great IMO

Exactly. Cops all over that place and it's right off of 110 using the Hollywood exit. Not some treacherous hike through the mean streets.
