I'm expecting the majority of polls to be like this. Every one is over Miles and our lack of offense. They will pump up other more exciting teams in preseason polls, which mean absolutely nothing to our title chances. It remains the same for us every year, win on the field and we will be playing for a NC.

what makes you think we should be ranked higher after finishing 14 or whatever and losing a ton of people?
FWIW, this is better, under the radar is a good thing

well, we got their 1, 2, 6, 8, 18, and 24 on our schedule. I'd say that's ample opportunity to prove em wrong.

Who gives a damn about a preseason poll? Notre Dame was unranked last year and they played for a National Championship. USC was ranked #1 and lost 6 games and finished the season unranked.

it's a pretty good ranking imo...It's a little sad to see lsu so low though, but we'll have our chance for sure...

Where is the cutoff for being in the hunt for championships? LOL.
Anyway like others said these preseason rankings don't mean too much. LSU was 1 or 2 last year and USC was anywhere from 1 to 3 and look how that worked out.
The voters think the same thing a lot of the so called negatigers think. Offense is bad and won't change much plus lose a pile of players on defense.

Looks about right. 2 losses is almost certain, and three seems likely.
Until JFF & Saban leave, we are Arky circa Bobby Petrino in the SECW.

and that a first year divisional opponent is #1,and another divisional opponent #2. Next season should be a tough one. I think LSU will be alright.

i only have a problem with a few schools...Standford is a little to high...also Clemson, louisville, Texas and ND should be a little lower....i believe we are more of a 12-14 ranked team imo

What a douche. We beat Saban at Alabama in 2011 and represented the west in the SEC Championship. We beat "JFF" in his own stadium last year during his Heisman campaign. He had by far and away his worst game against us. But you are right, we should just be prepared for third in the west every year.
People on here say such stupid things.
