BATON ROUGE - Alex Box Stadium, the state-of-the-art venue for the LSU baseball program, is listed among the Top 101 stadium experiences in the United States for 2012 by Stadium Journey magazine.

Alex Box Stadium ranked No. 70 on Stadium Journey's Top 101 experiences over the past year. The four-year-old venue is the only college baseball stadium to make the list.

Tiger Stadium, strangely enough, did not make the list.

It's because we have the best fans in the country, especially if you play for the team that beat us.

Because the stadium is full of whiny bitches who don't know what they're talking about?

You got me. We will definitely get on there after the expansion though. Our reputation for noise level alone will make Tiger Stadium a must-see.

That is one weak list. The highest international stadium only made it to 27th on the list. That seems beyond strange. Either make is a list of US stadiums or make it a real list.

Stadium Journey utilizes its FANFARE scale for ranking the stadiums on its website and for the purposes of creating this list. The scale takes into account the food & beverage at the stadium, overall atmosphere, the neighborhood in which it resides, the fans, access outside and inside the stadium, return on investment, and allows for room for "bonus points" for unique features.

Reviews are submitted by Stadium Journey's 80+ contributors, and tiebreakers are settled by a stadium's "Crowd Score," (the average of ratings submitted by members).

I'm guessing they have not made a football game at TS. Or if they did they had a bad experience sitting next to one of our drunk Nega Tigers.

Tiger stadium not being on that list is a joke.

When two national radio personalities gush over your stadium for a whole week, your stadium should make a list like this. I don't care how this list was compiled. Svp and RR said it was the best sporting event they've ever been to. That includes playoff games, superbowls, etc. that's the highest marks one could give.
