Around the Lafayette area? I'm not looking to spend more than $400. $500 would be my max. Something for a beginner. I'm looking for a sit in kayak to do a little bit of fishing.

I'd prefer the sit in. Maybe I'll go ride by after work and see what they got. Or I could take a weekend trip to Bass Pro and Cabelas.

Thanks.

Just some advice. Most fishers prefer sit on tops. I have seen people fish in sit ins though.

Go with what you prefer though.

I'm gonna shop around a little, but if I don't find anything better than that one I'll hit you up.

I feel more stable in a sit in. I've paddled a friend of mine's sit on top, I did not like it.

So you're saying it would be cheaper to buy one locally?
