Tim Quarterman shines in game against Oak Hill

His team got smoked, but he played very well. He's a guy that we rarely talk about on this board but ProjectP gave a heads up about his play and I thought it was worth it's own thread:

MOUTH OF WILSON, Va. — Johnson made a seven-hour bus trip to play one of the top teams in the nation and came away with an 84-59 loss to Oak Hill Academy. But Atom Smasher coach Utaff Gordon was pleased with his team’s performance and heart. “We played a very, very good team and I thought we played a very, very good game,” Gordon said. “The final score showed what happened in the last few minutes. But I am so proud of our team’s effort, the way they competed tonight. We faced one of the top teams in the nation and I think this is going to prepare us well for the rest of the year.” The Atom Smashers were led by LSU-bound senior Tim Quarterman, who scored 35 points. “Quarterman was the best player tonight in a gym full of great players,” Gordon said. “It got to the point where they were running two guys at him to try to keep the ball out of his hands. I think he should be picked as a McDonald’s All-American based on his performance tonight.”
