That seems like something they should let fans know about

Jacoby Jones has plenty of it, but he needs to put it all together this season. He had a sophomore slump last season.

doesn't necessarily matter for the mlb draft. they'll look at him as a potential 5-tool player and draft him high regardless. the mlb weighs potential far far more than performance. However, I am surprised Eades is rated that high. He has good stuff, but I just don't see him as being a top 15 prospect type player

Agreed, Eades would need a great season for me to want to draft him that high, especially with injury concerns

Right...I could careless about the MLB draft. I was referring to this season.

Eades has dominant stuff - don't be surprised if he is a 1st team all SEC pitcher this year.

I remember him being projected to be that guy out of high school. Hopefully we see it. Still wouldnt mind him getting a shot at the plate if we have a couple guys struggling

They will as soon as the date is firmed up. The date of the 31st is still tentative because they are waiting on a few more items from former players to complete some of the exhibits, such as the bat Warren Morris used to hit his famous CWS homerun in the 1996 CWS.

I got to tour the new Hall of Fame last night and it is really first class. One part that I think is really thougthful is a series of glass cases filled with baseballs and all former players (the ones still living, of course) will eventually sign a ball so that every LSU player will have a place in the LSU Baseball Hall of Fame.

There is also an exhibit of baseball bats with the name of any LSU player who was a first team All-American on a bat. Raph Rhymes already has a bat in the exhibit and I asked him last night would he get another bat if he is a 1st team All-American again this coming season? He said he doesn't know and doesn't want to jinx himself by asking.

BTW, here is the practice schedule for this coming weekend when full team practices start:

Practice Schedule
Friday- Practice at 3:00pm; Scrimmage at approximately 5:00pm
Saturday- Practice at 3:00pm; Scrimmage at approximately 5:00pm
Sunday- Practice at 1:30pm; Scrimmage at approximately 3:00pm
Monday- OFF

So it doesn't matter for Jacoby but it matters with Eades? Lol

You can do more with a pitcher that throws like Eades compared to a "5 tool player" who never produces.
