Can this kid come in and play right away? I was looking over the '13 class and was thinking we really need a taller possession receiver for next year.

He can, if he makes it through the academic hurdles..

If he makes the grades, he will be in the starting lineup at some point next season.

Your question requires another question to be answered... Will e get qualified to actually make it on campus? If he gets qualified, the kid could step on the field and make plays instantly. He would compete as our #1 deep threat guy from first practice.

He needs to improve his work habits. If you look up Hinds' stats for this year, you'll find he did NOT lead his team in receiving this year and he looked like primarily a deep threat. When you look at the disappointing numbers of his sophomore year mixed with the academic issues, you wonder if he worked hard enough. If he makes it to LSU, Tommy Moffitt and the boys are going to have to light a fire under him and teach him what kind of work ethic is needed to succeed at this level. Just being real. Look up his stats. Check out his academic issue. At this point, I think the kid's going to have to prove it.

He'd be our #1 deep threat NO DOUBT if he makes it to campus. Thats a GIANT IF though.

He could make the grades and blow Les Miles and he still won't start in front of OBJ or JL!!!

Well that is very misleading. Their leading receiver is a 5'11" 180 lbs possession receiver who happens to be headed to Ole Miss. And while Leslie caught fewer passes, he scored 10 TDs in 28 catches. That is pretty amazing.

Which is exactly what LSU is lacking.

Avery Johnson and Travin Dural are definite possibilities to fill that void.
