No excuse for the gumps loss. Against Clemsuck- We had (9) 3 & outs. That defense played their arse off. You had an over rated fricking safety that has had one stand out play in two years that could cover his arse in the dark. Glad he is gone. Fat arse and MoRon is responsible for the bowl loss nuff said...

I know the O has dropped off.
Saying O and D take equal part in TOP and # plays run isn't attacking, just a share in owning the problem.
All Cemson's TDs were long drives, even in 1st and 2nd qtr. Being tired is hardly the excuse for those and just ignoring a deficiency.
Less points were surrendered in 2nd half.
I've posted stats for the drop in D, but all that comes back is rhetoric since it fits the agenda.

What agenda?

This fantasy you have, maybe it will explain your vigorous attempt to debase the defense which has carried LSU.

Yeah....but couldn't our offense getting just 2 yards in two different games and doing ANYTHING at all in the 3rd loss give LSU an undefeated season? Why yes it could!! After talking to many LSU and opposing fans over the last few weeks, I am more convinced than ever its time for big changes at the staff level. No pass from me next yr regardless of how many players we lose...they created this mess so either fix it or deal with your downfall, Les...

I do agree with you here with the first half. You can't put the blame on the offense for Clemson's first TD.

But the 4th quarter tells a different story...

LSU 3 and out
CLEMSON 13 plays, FG
LSU 3 and out
CLEMSON 11 plays, TD
LSU 3 and out
CLEMSON 11 plays, FG (including a 4th and 16 and pass int penalty)

Miles admitted there’s “a need to execute this offense in a more effective manner.” He added, “that’s something we’re all looking to get accomplished.”

Les is admitting the offense is a problem. I didn't read any comments about the defense coming from Les.

If only we held Florida to 3 points we would have won that game as well. Offense put us in position to win the game.

BTW, there is no point of arguing with the pumpers. Everyone in world knows LSU offense sucks, and the pumpers know it to. They won't admit to it, miles comes before LSU in their mind.

This subject definitely separates Miles worshipers from normal LSU fans. Worshipers blame players, execution, defense..but can't accept the offense is a problem because they believe Miles plays a large role in the offensive side.

There's the other side who say the O has been dismal since his arrival or disregard 2011 O that skulldrug all teams not named bama.
I've posted 4/8 Miles' teams were FBS Top 10 in MoV, but it's ignored or ridiculed. It's only fact, but some take it personal.
Being a realist doesn't mean you have to be negative either.
If the stats are studied you''ll find the 2012 O isn't that far off from '07 except RZ and run execution.

Just because 4 of 8 teams have awesome MoV has nothing to do with the fact that the offense has dropped off and isn't adequate. Most of the time, LSU's offense really isn't needed thanks to a great defense which has been awesome in points allowed. When it's needed in 2-3 games per year, it has issues.

LSU beat UGA by 32 points last year while only gaining 230 yds total, 30 by air last year on 5 of 13 passing.. Thanks Chavis and special teams!!

it shows how ignorant they are and proves they know nothing about X's and O's. "oh we passed much more this year yay!" without realizing we were behind plenty and had to pass and that passing does not automatically=creativity and using the whole field and reading what the defense is doing...like squatting on our curls and slants and we still keep throwing it in there similar to running into a stacked box.

ummm the D and ST scored a bunch of those points last year. Not all were by the offense. also they set up the O with great field position. The D actually made so many quick stops it kept the other teams D on the field all game so they wore down with our offense on the field.

OMG. ok so it failed that which i highlighted above, the yardage rank is not even close and just the eyeball test(play calling creativity, 3 and outs ,etc.) is an epic fail. get help soon man. you need it badly!

Miles is probably reprimanding Chavis right now for not scoring enough.

Actually claiming the DEFENSE is the problem.

They truly are "miles fans", not "LSU fans"
