Better WRs ahead of him?

OBJ, Landry, Boone, Wright, etc..

Like I said in other thread, attrition to make room for incoming freshman. Happens every year. Nothing to see here...

You can't blame them. if they redshirt one of their years they have five years in all.

he's used up 2 and had no meaningful snaps. he's already behind

Landry
Beckham
Boone
Wright
Dural
Williams
Fobbs

All of those guys will be here next year and 3 the year after that(4-5 depending on how Landry and OBJ fair). Then Avery, Diarse, Brazil, possibly Leslie(grades), possibly Gardner(grades), will be here this year. All those guys are either Bigger, stronger, or faster than him.

It's the perfect thing to do IMO. Why waste your potential at a big school crowed with good talent when you can take your talent to an up and coming school in a high powered offense, and have a better shot of playing. The ultimate goal is the NFL(especial for the academically challenged ones) and they can't waste God given talent on the bench.

Yep, the Allies did a good job at D-Day shredding Rommel's defense...
Couldn't resist, but you are right about Turner...
For the record, I played at Rummel too..

Because he should've been a DB. He would be starting next year. Coaches liked him with the ball in his hands and he couldn't crack the lineup.

LSU has had trouble finding a role for a lot of athletes like Turner. Jarrett Fobbs is another one still on the team. Drayton Calhoun also comes to mind. This is not a real shocker.

Congrats to Tech, he could have worked his way to starter but wants to start catching passes sooner.

It could also be argued that none of those guys are that good. Drayton's been average at MTSU. Not everybody works out in college.

He'll have a good career at Tech. I'm not sold on All -Conference type career, but he'll put up some good numbers. La Tech has an offense that can get 5-6 receivers fairly involved. LSU can't hardly get two receivers going.
