Saw this on Hornetsreport. Not sure what we would have to give up to get him though.

New Orleans and Washington, according to sources, are among the clubs that have shown interest in the combo guard.

The likeliest scenario has the Clippers trading Bledsoe around draft time.

Jester just shot himself.

But in all seriousness Dell works the phone a lot, and they originally wanted him in the CP deal, so no surprise.

I doubt they end up with him.

yeah, the Clips would be pretty stupid to trade their backup guard without signing CP3 to a deal first

I'd take him.

Better than any of the other back up guards we got.

This must be pretty telling of their opinion of Rivers.

With the Lakers currently out of the playoffs I think he and Dwight try and find a team with cap space. Atlanta makes the most sense to me. On the plus side that would mean the Hawks would be looking to dump Teague on a team with cap space and it would take Dwight and CP3 out of the Western Conference.

You think this even with the way the Clips are dominating?

Dominating the regular season. 7 game series against playoff tested contenders are completely different things. I have no faith in the Clippers as contenders.

He'd be great to have. As our third Guard for the next two years it would be amazing to have him, Gordon, and Vasquez.

But likely, you would have to trade some significant value to get him, as the Clippers will likely be asking for a LOT. And he expires the same year as Vasquez, so basically you would then either have to flip him at some point or trade Vasquez if you decided Bledsoe is the future.

Don't see it happening now. Seems more likely we roll with Vasquez, hope that Rivers develops over the next two years into that 3rd Guard, and try to get a SF somewhere along the way.

I wouldn't mind bledsoe but i'm not sure what we'd give up to procure him...

To be honest i see flop city keeping him as insurance in case CP3 bolts, which wquld be a smart move imo.

This, plus the defense has been great even with Vasquez since Gordon came back. Bledsoe has been great, but having him instead of Vasquez would leave us even more desperate for scoring at the 3.

I actually don't dislike Bledsoe as a 3rd guard. I've never said I don't like him as a player. I don't think his PER (which so many people jizz over) indicates a top starting PG. He and Anderson running the second unit would be sick, though.

This is the main issue. We're set up more to take on contracts than to trade with "chips."

This is a totally different Clippers team from last season. They have the best bench in the NBA currently.
