ginojoubert ?@ginojoubertTSW #LSU is on the outside on Hootie Jones, but will continue to fight to keep him in State, from a top source at #LSU

With Washington, Fournette, Jones, Paris, Brown, I have a feeling the '14 recruiting cycle will put a few years on the recruiting board posters.

This

I think we need a Guidelines specific to the Recruiting Board with rule #1:

1. Quoting anything from Gino is grounds for Ban-Land

Isn't that all he does?

Hate to say it but it's gonna be pretty tough to get a clean sweep on all these La guys.

While none of the 2014 instate guys are locks at this point, Hootie Jones is not someone I am overly concerned with at this point. Things can happen, and kids are fickle. But as of today, he is about as big of an LSU lean as there is out there.

Sorry about bringing it to the board, fellas. Was just trying to look up some news on some '14 guys and that intrigued me.

I know LSU/Alabama/tOSU were his schools of choice from the get go.

Fournette and Robinson are the only "must gets" of the top level talent. I guess Gerald Willis is too, but I'm not getting my hopes up for another 13 months with him

I'd like to grab Kenny Young too, he's looking like a stud in the making. Losing a safety will never be a major loss in my eyes.

The fact that we have diarse on our side is a huge plus for us getting hootie. He knows he still has over a year to make a decision and is in no rush to make a serious decision

You guys are drama queens. He has missed on a few just like everyone else. Stop being so insecure and dogging a guy like that.

Didn't this guy say he loves tOSU and wants to go there? Why is this a shock?

In all honesty, if I had to choose between Hoootie and Ed Paris, I'd take Paris. Here's to hoping we get them both

idk why, but I mention Hootie, in regards to 2014 class, a lot of people are like "That kid isn't as good as they say he is" "He looks the part, but doesn't play like an elite recruit is supposed to."

They're probably hating, but regardless I wanna see him suit up P&G. Squeeze the potential out of him.

They probably saw him play injured in the Dome.

He may not but I do...hootie and diarse are friends...not best but friends...they do get along

Story on hootie...ohio st has been his team since he was a kid only school he would go to in my opinion except LSU....now he is very close to his mom and his mom wants him close by and instate....thats his story...diarse will help in recruiting him

Thats sounds fairly rationale. nothing that we wouldnt expect from a young guy with the world in front of him.

I am sure alot of kids have two loves in this state. In 2016/2017 kids will be even more all in on LSU becuase of the past 5-6 years.

Not sure why tOSU though we were crushing them about 8-9 years ago when he was 9 or 10 years old. BUt they were a good team and dynasty at the time.
