NIT Matchup: LSU vs TCU

Man, I would love to see this happen. I seriously doubt LSU will make it to the tourney this year and this would be a very nice consolation matchup.

Yeah, we aren't winning a conference game. We don't have a good team to begin with and we're plagued with injuries.

I really don't think he has what it takes to make us THAT bad. We've been pretty bad. I might be underestimating him though...

He actually landed us the number 3 rated center in the country. Nothing compared to Kansas but it's something.

TJ is a great x and o's coach. Atleast that's what people that work with him swear by. They are convinced he knows the game as well as anyone. To be frank, he's upstanding and will whip the kids into shape. You will have a team of class acts. He failed at LSU with rule #1.... Recruiting. If he can't get that up and running he will fail for TCU as well. I feel for him because I trust the sources that have attested to his coaching abilities and I believe he is truly a remarkable man. Here's hoping he gets it back on track.

I don't think TJ is as terrible a recruiter as he is a coach. I mean he had 4 of our worst recruiting classes ever.. but he also managed to lead us to 4 years of

Yea if he can get some talent you guys will be set. IMO the only thing holding TJ from being a good coach is his recruiting. His first year here, when we actually had some talent, we went on a Final 4 run
