If the Eagles don't hire him first, look for Lovey Smith to be the next coach.

Hire Josh McDaniels and get Tebow and then trade for Percy Harvin. Super Bowl championships will abound!

that's right jax, hold on to del rio for nearly a fricking decade and then fire mularkey after he couldn't work miracles with this horrible fricking roster gene smith has accumulated. that's fine, and go ahead, bring tebow in. frick winning.

hope these guys go 0-16, i'm done with this fricking franchise. see you twats in london

How the hell did you end up pulling for them in the first place?

lived there for a while, worked for them for a min, also had some friends who did work for them, etc. sadly the organization is becoming (ok, already is) a joke and i was always afraid they'd pull exactly what they're doing which is why it's so damn annoying. like you could see this coming. the Khan just wants to move them to London anyway, don't buy that stayin in Jax shite for a minute

it's a pity because that franchise could/can succeed with half way competent fricking leadership

Ar you blaming Khan for Weaver's mistakes (keeping del Rio for almost a decade)? Khan fired the GM responsible for the terrible roster and Caldwell wants to bring in his own guy. I don't see that as unreasonable.

no, i blame the franchise for being so god damn incompetent no matter who. i know it was weaver who held on to smith and del rio so long and i know weaver was a big issue in why JAX is such a joke. the Khan, however, decided to keep Gene and while he was right in firing him he was part of finding mularkey and firing the dude after one season is ridiculous, especially considering that the jags may be the worst accumulation of talent in modern NFL history.

the khan is there for business reason, i don't blame him, but i will blame him when this shite goes belly up under tebow and whatever new sap they hire comes in. then he'll get what he wants and move jax to london. what angers me is that no one over is trying to fix the jags, they are trying to squeeze whatever cash they can until they finally have to move.

i understand why the GM wants his own guy, though, i do get that. but one year? i've just had enough of watching this franchises bull shite for 0 return. ever.

Weaver fired del Rio, gave Smith an extension and sold the team at the same time. Khan let Smith stay on as GM because he had just been given that 3 year extension. Mularkey shouldn't have been hired in the first place, but he was one of Gene Smith's friends. Watching us get destroyed, not just beaten, by 25+ points the first few home games is when I knew both Mularkey and Smith would/should be gone after the season. Also, hearing Mularkey go on and on about "staying the course" throughout a 2-14 season was almost as bad as Gene "we are having great practices" Chizik's bullshite. Wiping the slate clean is what we needed.
