For all the chicken littles out there

I can't believe so many people are talking about our program as topping off/taking second seat to Bama.
We were a freshmen corner's read from forcing a fourth and long and probably winning that game to face UGA in the SECCG. Yeah we are losing a ton of talent in the junior class but look at the trend of the last ten years. Good recruiting class and then a good season two years later. 2011 was the maturation of the 2009 class. 2010 was an underated/but good class but the 2011 was awesome. Next year will be the maturation of 2011 plus we will have a veteran, senior QB.
Quit believing all of this media BS about Bama being unbeatable.

I agree with every bit of this. However,

It was only second down, so it would have been third down. And we were only ahead by three and they were in FG range so at a minimum the game would have probably gone to OT.

Agree LSU has been close but in the end it's all about Championships and perception in college football. The media has influence on who gets to play in the title game.
Nobody outside of LSU realizes how close they have been and nobody cares. Bama has 3 titles in 4 years. LSU has 0. That's all that counts right now.

Saban has done well and he is a very good coach but he had some lucky bounces that everyone likes to forget about after the last game....as a matter of fact he has a horseshoe up his arse. However, we all know how close we were the last two years.
I'm just saying that the future doesn't look that bad. Chavis was putting good defenses on the field before Mingo and Montgomery and he'll put one out next year as well. We'll have a good team next year.
