He had to let JJ play and keep the games close.

But you still knight for miles every chance you get. You disagree with who he plays but still support him. So what gives?

I don't understand your assumptions. Look, if you will pay attn to what I post, you'll see it's not so much about supporting any one particular thing as it is about pointing out really shitty arguments. I cannot stand those.

There are legit gripes with any coaching staff. The ones that are not will get pointed out.

I expressed lots of displeasure with Miles last season as it pertains to JJ.

But this is all for not becuase rt when the offense started coming together, the defense started falling apart.

I have to disagree with you and others who are spouting this "defense fell apart after the Bama game" stuff.

The facts:

I give you the Ole Miss game.

Miss State averaged 30 points per game; we held them to 17 (their lowest point total of their season aside from Bama and A&M).

Arkansas averaged 24 points per game; we held them to 13 (also their lowest point total of their season aside from Bama and A&M).

Clemson averaged 41 points per game and had one of the best offenses in college football (6th, to be exact). We held them to 25 points (their lowest point total of their season aside from South Carolina).

The defense may have tired as the season went on but they did not fall apart. They performed their job more than well enough to allow us to win games had the offense helped out just a little.

Average is probably not a good thing to look at here. What did those teams average aginst winning teams?

I never said that, ive seen it posted numerous times between the end of last season and the beginning of this season.

Miles and co were very high on the kid that committed to auburn and by all accounts did very well in his all star game. Yet people were so pissed because he was black and they automatically said oh not another JJ.

When Bolden transfered the same thing was said.

When Jennings committed, the same thing was said. and i fully expect even more people to question us signing a "dual threat" qb when the people who dont follow recruiting all cycle start to at the end of this month.

Really?

I think it has been proven over the last 4-5 years developing qbs is not the strength of our staff. My arguement has been it has more to do with coaching and offense than the players.

inconsistent at times,OK.......at the WORST possible times,..yes. I may be wrong, but I just dont see this kid as a major school QB.He moves like his feet are in concrete buckets, and he looks like he is scared to death. Do you HONESTLY think any other top school would leave him in all four quarters? He plays like he would rather be ANYWHERE other than on that field.IF he REALLY had "IT",they would have kept him at Georgia,no coach lets prime QB off a team for pinching a girls behind in a college bar,I dont believe that for a second. Miles habit of playing who starts,no matter how pathetic is poor. It cost them a National Championship in '12. Whoever came up with "mad hatter" is a joke,I sat in the stands and watched LSU fans boo Jefferson when he took the field.Anyway,Bobby Bowden said it best when asked if he took fans and alumni opinions into consideration before games,.."Any coach who does that will be doing it from the stands"....

I also stated, started to fall apart, just like offesne started to come together. Neither went full circle.

But i present you the miles teams are so undisciplined argument. Well if Miles only has a job because of Chavis, and Miles completely stays out of chavis' way, then why are we overlooking the fact that the opponents had 33 first downs off of defensive penalties? That is them not getting themselves off the field. It also extended drives that LSU eventually would lose on.

LSu had the ball twice in the 4th quarter against clemson. 2 of their longest drives of the game came in the 4th quater, the other was their first td. Now their longest drive of the game was the first drive of the 4th quater. The defense again couldnt get themselves off the field. It wasnt the offenses fault when they didnt even get the ball back until 6 minutes into the 4th quarter.

Pretty much. Hell, he did things I know are wrong, and I wasn't being coached at all.

I'll try to wade through that wall of text to give a response.

He played his best of the season in the biggest game, Alabama. He needs to improve on a few things that cost us during the season but he made some NFL throws in the face of pressure all season long.

There are successful QBs that are slow as shite, but, sure, he could improve his pocket presence and awareness.

Did you miss the Ole Miss game? That was one of the gutsiest performance by an LSU QB. He consistently got hit in the mouth and bounced back. Made throws when he knew he would get hit in the pocket.

Almost positive the school pressured Richt to kick him off the team, and since then Richt has said he wish he wouldn't have booted him.

Got news for you, 90% the starter is usually the guy who gives you the best chance to win.
