Its an Alabama world, and apparently LSU just lives in it.

BTW, TCU will not be a patsy next year. They are ranked #14. We are ranked #13 by Schlabach FYI.

quote:

14. TCU Horned Frogs: TCU limped to a 7-6 record in its first season in the Big 12, but it might have been Gary Patterson's best coaching job. The Horned Frogs were stung by a drug bust that cost them four players in the offseason, then lost quarterback Casey Pachall to off-field problems after four games (he might return in 2013). By the end of the 2012 campaign, TCU's leading passer (Trevone Boykin), rusher (B.J. Catalon) and pass-rusher (Devonte Fields) were freshmen. TCU will benefit next season, with six starters coming back on offense and 10 on defense. In fact, TCU played 28 freshmen this season, tied with LSU for the most in the country. Linebacker Kenny Cain, TCU's top tackler, is the only defensive starter leaving. The Horned Frogs' schedule won't be any easier; they open the 2013 slate against LSU at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and also play at Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Kansas State.

That won't be an easy game. TCU returns a lot of young contributors from this year's squad. I believe TCU played more true freshman in 2012 than any other team in the nation. Boykins is fairly athletic and promising.

That being said, we should still win. Looking forward to being in Dallas for that game.

They were #1. We were #2 on that list.

You seem to take an unsavory pleasure in trolling LSU fans. As an LSU fan yourself, you must be into S&M.

For now.

Next year it will be all about Johnny Football. Johnny Football this, Johnny Football that, don't you want your own Johnny Football?

Just the shitty ones, which is what the Rant has a majority of.

Nah. I'm normal. I'm just a realist.

Look at CFB, who is running it, what formula they use to determine a champion, and the obvious double standards that 113 our of 119 programs have to face to win that title.

Looking at next season, Bama has another rediculously easy schedule. So does Ohio State and Michigan.

It will be Bama vs one of those two teams. 31-10 Bama. Easily.

aTm could come close to taking out Bama due to their schedule being a little weaker, but you have the mulligan factor in there as well. aTm isn't respected enough for that.

LSU, UF, UGA and USCe will eliminate each other due to their schedules. This is by design.

While I don't disagree with you, I think the schedule is not the only reason LSU was eliminated this year.Did Bama have an easier schedule? Maybe. But they were more consistent. and better. At the end of the day LSU had a chance to beat them at home on a Saturday night and didn't. We were simply not as good as them, period.
You can begrudge their easy schedule, SEC refs etc etc. but I happen to remember an extraordinary alignment of planets to help LSU into the BCS game twice. So your comment seems to be a little self-serving.

I could live with starting #13. This team needs a hunger and an edge to it.

Not a Raheem Alem, kick-the-QB-in-the-head-right-in-front-of-the-ref-on-3rd-and-14 kind of edge, but a "We need to re-prove ourselves" mentality that brings about a hunger.

Not to mention, we still control our own destiny with all the teams we play.

The Tigers were supposed to open their vertical passing game this past season, but they ranked only 92nd in passing (200.5 yards per game) and 85th in total offense (374.2 yards). Part of the problem can be attributed to having such a young offensive line (two freshmen and a sophomore started against Clemson), but Mettenberger also needs to improve his accuracy. LSU still finished 10-3 because of its menacing defense

A revealing paragraph but the last line says it all.
