How do you get your services listed on State Contract / Louisiana?

cross posted this on the OT but thought I might be able to get some answers here as well.

I know this is probably easy but I keep getting passed around to different State Depts and nobody at the Sate seems to know exactly how to go about this process. I would imagine this is typical Louisiana politics at play and it is made confusing so that only a select few preferred providers are given the knowledge.

How do I get my company listed under one of these "T" numbers as being a provider for that service or equipment? Thanks.

I somewhat responded in your other thread but I'll elaborate here. You need to sell your services to the 35 or so IT directors in state government who make the buying decisions. They have a professional association, CISD, that has a membership roster. They have a great deal of latitude within the state's procurement rules in selecting the vendors appropriate to their needs. I can assure you that there is a minimum of favoritism in these awards.
