I hope this puts more emphasis of needing an 8 team playoff.

Roger that's the proble with this whole BCS system. Its a shame that ND is even in this game. Granted who else could be there because they were the only undefeated team. But not just being a Homer for the SEC but I honestly believe that every SEC team that went to a Bowl game could beat ND including us with our lame offense. Certainly Oregon would have provided a better game agains Bama than what we are seeing. Absolutely cannot wait till we get at least some semblance of a playoff. Should be this year instead of having to wait another year of this crap.

This is just another meaningless Bowl game in BCS system as far as I am concerned Texas A&M and Oregon play the best college football right now and none of them are in this picture.

Absolutely!!! Thank god the playoffs have started in the NFL. I don't know how much longer I could have dealt with that long, boring, meaningless regular season!!! Honestly, I wish there weren't any playoffs either. I rather the champion be subjectively selected by a bunch of computers and goobers who never played a day of sports in their lives, than sit through a MONTH of football.

Sad part is the media won't look at it as, Notre Dame is outclassed but all about how dominant Alabama is. It won't be about how dominant the SEC IS, it will be all about Bama/Saban. Doesn't matter what LSU, Georgia, TAMU almost or did do...its bama is far superior to everyone. Especially in light of our weak bowl showings...
