Homochitto National Forest

Where can you find maps and regs on hunting the Homochitto National Forest? Ive checked MDWFP and cant find anything.

You can pick up maps at the green jean station. It isn't a WMA so it doesn't have regulations specific to it, as far as I know. The seasons and regs on mdwfp cover it, just check the zone for the antler requirements if deer hunting.

There are no turkeys there if that's what you're looking for. I would keep driving north.

I did a fair amount of cutting there. The maps that they give you are pretty horrible. Do yourself a favor and print one out before hand and then mark the roads with the info from the park maps.

Google maps/my car gps both have a good amount of the roads marked. They don't, however, have the smaller logging roads that cut off of bigger roads

I'm not sure how long ago that was but they started putting out an updated version a few years ago. It seems to be fairly accurate now. The one I had prior to that didn't even have all the forest land marked. It had been so long since an update I had to mark land they had acquired since then.
