Just heard Jesse Palmer say this on Sportscenter.

Is he serious?

i heard it. it's not outlandish, but ND, LSU, and UGA are all right there with each other.

The hype machine is jsut revving its engine right now. For those who watch, the pregame will be unbearable.

how dare he say an undefeated defense is better than our 3 loss defense.

That would seem to be contradicted by the fact that over half of LSU's front seven are turning pro and most of them are underclassmen.

As much as I hate to say it Notre Dame's defense is legit. Not saying they have a better defense than we did but it's not like they are light years behind everyone in the defensive category.

If he'd said "may be the best," at least he would have some wiggle room. I'm not buying it. Maybe they feel the ND linebackers are better, but LSU's front four was other-wordly.

Interesting stat: ND gave up 13 points and 379 yard to OU. A&M gave up 13 points and 401 yards to OU. Nobody's going to confuse A&M's defense with LSU's.

Why do you people watch that shite?

You don't think the guys at ESPN know that Bama is going to win tonight by 20+ points? Of course they do.

This game will be a ratings hit. That's all that matters. Anyone who paid attention to CFB this year knows ND is vastly overrated.

Thanks to officiating, they beat Standford and Pitt. fricking Pitt (who lost to Youngstown State) should have beat them in South Bend.

Here's another interesting stat:

Pitt:
Rushing 144 yds
Rushing Attempts
33
Yards per rush
4.4

ND fiddin' to get raped.

ND was in Norman, also there are several LSU opponents who aren't offensive powerhouses racking up yardage & points on our defense. Plus even with the obligatory Div IAA Towson, along w/ sunbelts, Auburn we are still ranked behind them in total defense

coulda sworn they were undefeated

anyway, I watched our defense get torched by Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Clemson. I watched MSU throw for 300 yards on us and I watched AJ Mccarron waltz down the field with the game on the line and score the game winning TD.

How dare that LSU hater

Not sure what that has to do with ND being overrated garbage that's going to get raped by Lacey and Yeldon.
