Playing backups in blowouts in NCAA13 dynasties

Does this really help develop them for the next year? I used to never do it and never really noticed a difference. However, I didn't explicitly check for it. I do it as much as I can now, but was wondering if you wise fellas knew.

It helps with development, especially with QBs because the better the performance, the more positive the increase. You mostly increase awareness during the season, but its still something.

I like to sub in 2nd string if I'm up by 3 or 4 scores in the 2nd half.

That's what I've been trying to do against the CPUs. Try and get up enough to get them in after a drive or two in the third.
