Brownells had some earlier, but by the time I added it to my cart to check out it was one. 
I was pissed.

Sportsmans guide hasn't raised their prices and is allowing backorders. It even says the expected replenish date. If I was looking for .223, I'd probably place a couple different orders for 1000 rounds on Sportsmans guide since their prices isn't all jacked up. Drawback-you will have to wait 3-4 months most likely. Worst case-they cancel your order, no harm done.

Its not bulk but cabelas website has herters 223 20 round boxes for 6.99/box. I ordered 20 boxes, shipping out end of January.

Cabela's also has Remington .223 that you can backorder that is supposed to ship towards the end of Jan.

I recommend you get on an email notification list like at Aim Surplus. Once you receive an email that ammo is in stock jump on it with the swiftness. I was lucky yesterday and turned my computer on about 5 minutes after the in stock email went out. I didn't need a case of ammo but for $328 shipped I couldn't pass it up.

I hope you get it. In 2008 right after the election I ordered from Cabela's in December with a January ship date and about a week after the ship date they pushed the delivery out to May.

This would no big deal as long as dont cancel the order. Im in no hurry for the ammo, and its expected with all the chaos for those dates not to hold. As long as i get it and for that price im satisfied. We will see. Bout all ya can do righy now

My hunting buddie bought 10 boxes (that is the most allowed per store policies) at Centurion Law Enforcement Supplies 2700 Paris Rd Chalmette 504-266-2500. I am not educated in ammo but they did have a few different selections of .223.
