I go every year. It is far and away the best racing experience that you'll ever have with your pants on.

If you go, I highly recommend arriving early on Saturday morning and going into the infield. Once you get in, pick your spot and set up camp. I have a pickup truck with a topper so I just sit up my easy up and I'm good to go. I spend the night with my son and we have a great time. Bring ear plugs if you want to get some sleep.

I recommend buying the ticket that included garage access. It is really cool. You can walk right up to the cars while the crews are servicing them. I had Juan Pablo Montoya walk right into me two years ago,

Some party their asses off but, that is not my thing. I enjoy the campout and the time with my son.

I went to the 500 last year and it sucked beyond belief. It was called for rain and freaking NASCAR wouldn't tell the fans anything. Then they rescheduled the race to be run on Monday afternoon. I couldn't go so I had to eat there tickets.

The Rolex is run no matter what the weather is.
