I can honestly say that I have never met a woman who I would call a good driver.
The first kind is the kind that is so damn nervous behind the wheel that it is unbearable to be a passenger in the car. She will wait not take a left if there is a car anywhere in sight pretty much. They take forever parking as they need the perfect spot with enough room. They drive at or below the speed limit. It's even worse when they are a passenger because they criticize every move that you make because they think they are a better driver.
The second kind is the kind that just doesn't give a shite about anything. They speed, think they own the road, and do all kinds of other dumb shite that makes you cringe. They have been in multiple wrecks that will leave you dumbfounded when they explain how it happened. When you ask them wtf they are doing they act like nothing is wrong.
My question is which one do you prefer? I think I would slightly prefer the nervous type but they are both awful. This idea was thought of because I rode in a car with my girlfriend who is the nervous type and then my mom who is the insane type within the same week. Never again.

I hate driving with the first kind as a passenger.
Every 5 minutes is a near death experience according to them.

I'd prefer the first type definitely. I have the patience for that kind. The second type you described are the spawn of satan behind the wheel.

I read the tread title thinking...that is so narrow-minded!! How could you have just two kinds of drivers..I bet I don't fit into either category.
Nooooope. I'm the first kind. I Even try not to go in reverse bc it freaks me out.

I'm definitely neither of those. I believe in turn signals, cruise control and checking my blind spot. I'm decisive and "drive ahead" a few cars. I don't speed excessively (5-7 mph over) and ALWAYS check traffic on my computer and know where I'm going before I step out the door.

Quite the opposite. Drivers like that (male and female) usually are fearful b/c they genuinely don't know what they are doing.

While it would infuriate an inpatient passenger, they are likely less of a threat to the road (although - still a threat) than a reckless #2.
