Taking a semester off/Loans

So some unseen circumstances have arose at home and I'm not entirely sure if I will be able to go back to school (LSU) for this upcoming Spring semester.
If I planned on going back in the Summer, will I have to begin paying back on my Stafford Loans? I know most loans give you the 6 month grace period but I don't know if it really will be just more than, over than, or exactly 6 months when the Summer semester starts after the Spring semester.

You should be good. you get the deferment period then if you're back in school just prove it and good to go again
