....yea right. There will be hundereds more.

But I think it's ridiculous all these guys leaving. To be frustrated with an essentially brand new offense (and I mean nearly the entire offense excluding RBs and including OL injuries) is understandable. However, we only lost two games!

Les has done absolutely nothing but stick up for these guys all year. I really think these players should think hard about heading for the draft, because these times in college.. you cant get back.

I would love to have all these guys back. So I guess in a long-shot plea, "Minter, Montgomery, Simon, Mingo, Reid (ehh)... please come back for one more and make the entire LSU fanbase the happiest fanbase.

What exactly do any of these players owe you or me or LSU or Miles? They came to LSU, played hard, and won a lot of games.

If you were given the choice to do your job for free or to get paid what would you choose?

Quit being ridiculous. These kids should go and get their money as soon as they can. The risk of injury is too great. The average NFL player last 2.5 years. Why waste one of those years playing for free. This is THEIR life we are talking about. Not you living vicariously through them.

All of the ones leaving to this point (aside from Simon) can't increase their draft stock by coming back. Why should they risk injury when they can make their money and live their dream now? Simon is a special circumstance. I heard he has a couple kids and that probably makes a huge difference in his decision.

Wing - #1 punter in draft
Reid - 1-2 round pick
Ware - 3-5 round pick
Minter - 2-3 round pick

Why would these guys stay? You come to LSU to be able to play for championships and then move on to the NFL. These guys did that. They are leaving because it's best for them. THey are going to the NFL not leaving Miles. I swear, you would think some of you haven't seen players leave early for the NFL.

Ware has reached his ceiling, simon needs the money, and the rest are 1st and 2nd round talent. I don't see a problem with them making their money. Hope they do well at the next level.

You don't see the choice in front of them do you...Let's just talk about those who aren't likely to go in the first and second round

Pro's for declaring
- Chance to make some money with the chance of making a lot more later
- Change to get coached up in the NFL and really develop into a talent

Con's of staying
- Risk of injury
- Risk of not developing much due to very little coaching
- Risk of being shuffled in the depth chart for no apparent reason and then being forgotten
- Risk of getting into trouble and being labelled as having 'character' issues
- No clear 'direction' by the coaches, i.e. what to do to succeed to get to the next level

It's easy if you are Ware of Ford or Simon or Shep.
