Why were the two basketball threads taken down?

Too many stickies.
The threads were too large for Chicken's tastes.
They weren't very active.

I wish they would have compiled the 2 basketball threads into 1, like they did the football threads into that 1.

Guess it means just more general basketball threads till the non basketball fans get pissy and put them back up

They weren't very active because there's not a whole lot going on right now. After we had our signees, there hasn't been much news outside of 2014/15 guys.
I'd think one sticky'd thread for the discussion beats new threads for each tidbit of news.

I like that they're unanchored. But don't think they should be whacked.

Hoops recruiting may not be as active, but overall, it has been pretty exciting the past 8 months..
