| WSJ to Chris Christie (Posted on 1/4/13 at 8:28 am)
Don't be the next Charlie Crist. Sorry guys link won't work for non-subscrbers.LINK Just points out the pork in the Sandy relief bill, such as money for Alaska fisheries, 17billion for "community development funds" and social service grants. Bohener was being fiscally responsible, and Christie, King et all were merely being hacks. That's the problem Bohener faces. Whenever he does try to put a curb on spending he's attacked from even his side. And I doubt any other party would be any different.

He will. May as well. He's shown where his true loyalty lies...and it ain't Freedom. And he's done as far as being a Conservative *heavyweight*.

His weight should have been a clue towards his "I want mine" flaw.

Can you put the link back up for those of us who can read it? I searched his name on the site, but just came up with an article about fund raising.

Maybe it's because we have highger standards, and expect people to be intellectually honest, and actually live up to what they campaign on.

This. Some Republicans are actually willing to demand substance and results from their politicians rather than cotinually make ridiculous excuses for their incompetence and general shittiness. It could have been Obama that walked into the Sandy Hook school, and liberals would have praised him for only killing 20 kids rather than 200. "He saved 180 lives!!"

Meh. He is being a good Governor. He could care less if $X billion in pork happens as long as he gets help for NJ. That might irritate me, but I don't vote for him. Now, that might decrease his presidential aspiration chances, but he has to get re-elected first.

And they wonder why we call them far right nuts. It's people like this who give Republicans a bad name. Why would anyone want to be associated with people like this? The problem for Republicans is some of these nut jobs have won office or are running and the party gets tarnished by association.

Right wingers care what the politicians who represent them say and do. They do not blindly follow their party leadership which is why the party is so weak now. Many have moved Libertarian. Liberals do not care at all what their reps do.
