What's the consensus on which job is harder in CFB....Offensive Coordinator or Defensive Coordinator?

So your going to ask this question to thousands of people who have never worked a day at either job?

I'm sorry. Is this not the ex-coaches board?

generally speaking, there's always a new twist on offense or a new craze and after a few seasons DC's figure it out.

so OC maybe?

in the SEC it's definitely OC.

edit: also never forget that special players can make coaches look like megaminds

I would agree DC is the harder job at most schools. But given the caliber of defensive players LSU has recruited over the past five years or so and the offense's woeful performance over that same period, I would say it is OC at LSU.
