The team is not necessarily mediocre but the offense has been for some time. The rankings show this. Losing a bunch of starters on defense I don't think you can't expect the defense to keep bailing the offense out next year. The defense might take a small step back. If we could just get the offense in the national top 30-40 we would be ok.

In the December 2nd BCS rankings 20 of the top 25 teams had 10 wins.

And if you purchase the Playbook App, I think you ought to be able to "vote" for the next play based on down & distance, defensive alignment, and/or your very own BAC level. Results would be posted on the scoreboard. ("I'm going to ask the audience, Regis.") Vegas could post a new over/under line on how many times during a game Les was caught looking at the scoreboard between plays! As an added benefit, while checking out the fan play call polling results, Les might also notice how much time is left in the game and how many timeouts are left.

The Athletic Dept. would tell you that Les is not paid by any "public" money but self generated AD money. This is the same logic they used to refuse to let me play basketball in the gym after I graduated. Of course I have always maintained that the "self generated" money is made on public property and that the original stadium was built with public funds and that they have the benefit of the LSU name (which is surely a public possession).

I am also sure they take advantage of LSU accounting services, dining facilities etc. But no you don't have a right to anything, let alone who calls the plays.

WTF does that matter?
We gotta beat alabama.. thats the bottom line.
If we didnt have a team in our conference not to mention a rival thats in our division thats winning NC's like stealing candy from a baby, there wouldnt be this alarm... 10 wins would keep most people happy.

But playing 2nd place to alababma and having most and fans and players have this frick it attiutude once we lose is bullshite.. and thats what has most people upset.

Ive said this 100 times... its a one game season now.
Sucks, but thats what it is.

Imagine if Duke and UNC only got to play once.
That's where we are.

I keep hearing this falsehood.
The offense was far from mediocre in "11, unless you call an avg 24pt MoV middling.
LSU blew out every team not named bama and smoked the same SECCG foe that almost beat bama this year.
It will be better with better OL execution and starters back.

We should have a right to demand a change in the way it's done. even the announcers during Sugar Bowl were making fun of us for not having Bridgewater. It was well deserved. I love Miles, he is a good coach and great recruiter. So was Jim Mora (though a very different personality) but his downfall was a stubborn ignorance about his offensive play calling strategy and evaluation and/or use of QB talent. And everyone blaming coach stud, remember blaming Karl Smith? Well, when Mora either gave in or was forced too he was scooped up by the high powered 49ers and directed a high powered championship offense. It was all Mora's doing it kept him from greatness and was his downfall. I can see that unfolding here and hope either i'm wrong and this is just a long anomaly or Miles figures out he needs help with that part of his program and hires it and lets it run.

Is there anyway we can just revoke your tickets, take anything you own with an LSU logo on it, and just completely strip away your general fandom? The program runs smoother without you coming anywhere near it.

I teach with a lady whose Uncle is the TAF President. She said there are probablly people pushing Alleva and Miles to get a more effective offense. Not sure if it will help, but he has to be hearing some complaints.

That's 20% of college football; 80% had fewer.
