No one is saying that as the conference is falling apart.

Can the Big East claim a win when the team that won has already declared their intent to leave? Technically, the Big East is 1-0, Rutgers adds ANOTHER loss to the Big Ten, and Syracuse and Louisville add wins to the ACC.

Starting in 2014 there is no more BCS, so no more AQ status for anyone.

From what I've read, there's still gonna be AQs under the new system. The 5 "BCS" conference winners + the highest ranked team from the other 5 (Big East, CUSA, MAC, MWC, Sun Belt) will have an aq spot.
