The trends I am seeing on this site baffle me.
You say the players hate Miles. This is ridiculous as a friend to alot of the players (one of my cousins is on the team and my brother was a walk on for two years) all of them have told me they absolutely love Miles. From Lee and JJ to Sam and Mingo to Odell and Jarvis and Mett and Freak. The only players to say they dislike the program and Miles to me is Reuben Randle and Chris Davenport and he is transferring to Tulane anyway.
You say we need to fire Miles and hire a coach that can guarantee championships. There are two coaches who could probably do that Saban and Meyer and they are both at better programs and will never come here. I agree we need a new OC.
Guess what teams lose the Yankees lose, the Patriots with Belichick lose, Nick Saban loses, Deniro makes bad movies, The Beatles had bad songs. I am pissed about the loss too but have some perspective instead of sounding like occupy Wall Streeters whining for what you deserve.

If you like boring, predictable offenses, Elmer Fudd is your friend.

LSU's offense is bad, win or loose. If you don't get that, then you have your head stuck ... in the sand.
Really, it is not complicated. LSU's offense has been inconsistent at best and unproductive at its worst, and the stats prove it.
Focus on what the problem is right before your eyes and maybe we can get Les Miles' in rehab.

Yes but the point you are missing is when these guys lose the coaches aren't a questioned and laughed at. They get outplayed but the coaching is mostly solid. Miles on multiple occasions has had the nation asking "WTF?" Don't compare him to them. It's not fair.

This is where most will stop reading and start shaking their head.

You read one or two posts that make that comment and you think everybody is on board? If so, you are an idiot.

Find me quotes like this. Please, do some homework. Find those quotes and post them in this thread. Those idiots ought to be called out.

Miles is not in their class at all, not close. Stupid comparison, but nice try you Miles nutlicker.

LSU fields a solid team year after year.. but with just an average offense.. we would field great teams year after year.

We have Pavarotti talent and ask him to sing Right Said Fred.

That is what I am saying. These once in a lifetime coaches all lose games they should win all the time.

We are a great program but to think there aren't better programs is absurd.

I don't really care about the Clemson loss. I don't. It was an exhibition game that means very little in the grand scheme.
My biggest concern is the regression of the offense. Teams can predict what LSU is doing on most plays. The coaches aren't putting the players in positions to gain advantages. They are relying on pure strength and will to gain a few yards at a time. That can work most of the time, given LSU's talent. But when an equally talented team is on the other side, it becomes a major struggle.
LSU has gotten away with the mediocre offense for years, relying on the defense to win games. It's starting to catch up to them. The offense will have to win games very soon. The big question is: can LSU make the adjustments to accommodate?

We've become the most predictable team in the conference and saying that our defense will pull us out of the hole is a false mindset.

I completely agree our offense needs to change. All I am saying is that Miles is not the problem its our OC.

I'm with you on this one.
When LSU lost Saban a lot of people wondered where in the hell the Tigers would find a coach who wouldn't run the program into the ground. We found one who pretty reliably gets ten wins a season even if the stars are out for whatever reason and is always in the hunt. The players love him. He isn't squiring blonde employees around on his motorcycle or getting the program slapped with big NCAA sanctions.
I for one hope he retires in Baton Rouge.

But, Miles needs to be the man to openly say "I've made mistakes with our offense and I'll go out and search for someone to fix our problems".
It blows my mind that he hasn't fixed this problem in the last 4-5 yrs. Because when it came to the defense he immediately found someone to fix the problem we had.
