Got my deer back from the processor today. Had them make half pan sausage and half link sausage. I steaked the other deer up from this year. I love seeing that freezer getting filled up with wild game. Mmmmmm

Just cut up most of that last pic and put it in some Red Beans and Rice that has been cooking in the crock pot most of the day. Had to pan fry some up just to taste it right quick and it is VERY good.

I just finished up with a 150 hog and a 130lb deer. Still have to rap that shite. Made well over 100 links and still have 4 gallon bags of ground meat, backstraps from both and a couple roast from the deer. Two icechest full of meat. and not much room to put it. Told the wife I will just go buy another small chest.

Wife is cooking some backstrap right now. I'm beat!

Must have more money the sence. The cost to have a deer procesed, what, $150 now?

A good meat grinder, $325, Vacuum packer, $100. 3 deer and you can pay yourselfs.

I paid 110 to have all that sausage made. I cleaned and deboned the deer myself. The first one I got this year I steaked out myself and that always sucks having to do that.

Next time you need processing done let us know. Best product around....no batch processing, custom blended seasoning, quick turnaround(5-7 day average), and all items vac packed.

So, are you admitting to being one of those evil "meat hunters"?

If so, welcome to the club. I just ate a plate full of smoked deer sausage with cheese added.
