Our football was unpredictable, nerve-racking, and ugly all year, nothing new in the Miles era. I wouldn't say it improved or got worse throughout the year, and anybody that does is either a sunshine pumper or looking for a reason to bash Miles. We're just in an era of a lot of ugly wins and a few close losses, it's as simple as that.

Of Course! We have a coach who can win 10 games a year and lose the big ones. We should all be so thankful!! Oh, and the Statue of Liberty as quarterback...

It was more of an up and down thing, which is to be expected of a young team.

We peaked in October and declined after early November.

No. We played up or down to the competition all year. Usce, a&m, Bama all were good teams and we won two of three and could have won the third. Add UF in there as well but they were an unknown at the time. Should have beat north Texas and Towson by more and same for auburn. No issues with ole miss or arky as we have not beat ole miss at home by more than 10 since 95 and that includes the Saban years. Arky is usually a tough game.

LSU is not a top 10 team this year. We should have never been ranked higher than 15 with this offense.

LSU is like a hot-looking girl who flirts and fools around well, but is terrible in the sack.

Clearly, yes. Defense wore down due to entire season of carrying an inept offense.

I agree, should not have ever been in top ten. Get ready Positigers. With Mett " the statue" QB, defensive players we r losing, and Miles.....8 wins 2013. Just the way it is, can't win a championship every year. We ain't no Alabama...

As Roger the Shrubber put it the offense was Bad got better then after the Bama game regressed and got worse. Defense definitely got worse as the season wore on. Not to say that it was all bad on defense but IMO was not playing with the same intensity as earlier during the season or at least finding ourselves out of position a lot of times.

No leadership on offense at all this year. Defense had leadership but offense it was non-existent. Blame on Miles, coaching staff, and mentally immature QB. Players play 110% for those they respect but become individuals when team can't gel. Luckily LSU had talent this year on offense but the Mett experience turns into QB controversy in 2013.

No. LSU definitely improved dramatically from the Florida game to the Alabama game. Most of this was due to the OL going from below average to slightly above average.

Defensively, we were not as good in the last 3 games.

In the bowl game, the OL let us down again. Pass protection is a major concern for us. It has been several years since we've been capable of protecting the QB at a reasonable level.

Look at it this Way...LSU's best game was the Bama loss, 90 seconds from its best win !

Measure LSU by that standard and they were all over the map, and I mean all over.

That is the Major Issue and root of All their issues.
