Stop hating the Defense.......

A defense is only as good as the offense.......to put it in more perspective, if you dont have a good offense (and yes, we do not, no matter which way you slice it), then dont expect your defense to go out there and do it for you every time, cause there is no way in hell they will be able to.
But if your offense is good, forces the opposition to go out, play catch up and allows the defense to capitalize on their mistakes cause the opposition is doing something out of their comfort zone to catch up.
For example, the NE Patriots, suck on defense, but their offense is so good that the defense gets more than ample chances to get TO's and convert lot of them into TDs.
Imagine how good our defense would be if we had a decent offense, at least one that can turn it up against good teams.
P.S. Not just good offense but good PLAY CALLING needed too!!!!

Defense had youth in the secondary and played well overall. Not going to fault them because they weren't a finished product like the 2011 team.

They are complimented with a finished offense. An offense that is finished 1,2,3 punt.

Hating on the defense, WTF. The defense was on the field for 100 offensive plays and 36mins of the game, it is by their hard work and excellent play that Clemson didn't score 45 pts, which is what they did to all other teams when they had those kind of numbers. Hate the offense play caller, which as everyone knows by now is Les Miles.

First of all, He threw that ball on his back foot as he was being hit..sure great throw but i beleive it was luck more than anything..Next, your an idiot to say the defense quit...those kids played their heart out the whole game and was laying the hat. I cant beleive im even commenting back to suck an ignorant statement...happy new year

If the Defense DID quit, Coach Miles will analyze this issue and implement an appropriate solution.
He is very involved in these kinds of issues and will solve any "lack of motivation" issues on the Defense.
I don't think there's a big problem here, but, I'm confident that Coach knows best.
