Shea's work permit hearing is happening as I type this. We should know shortly if he completes his move to Stoke. At least one American moving to a top flight league per transfer window is a major step in the right direction.

hopefully the move works out.

Yeah, apparently Pulis went to it to plead his case.

Gay arse Europeans. Sven Bender to LFC is intriguing.

it makes a bit of sense if they are planning to move forward with leitner and not bender. both are pretty young, leitner being the younger

Yeah, also with Nuri Sahin back in the fold I guess all of those midfielders become redundant. I like Sven Bender more than Seb Kehl but Kehl doesn't have much transfer value.

kehl is also a lot older i think, i think he also used to captain the club on occasion. doubtful they would let him go. smart money is on sahin staying there for the rest of his career

eta but like i posted in the lfc thread, honigstein still thinks it's the work of a twitter troll. so we'll just have to wait and see

Far from a big deal, but I haven't seen it here so: Patrick Bamford loaned to MK Dons.

He is. But the PL and FA Cup should be priorities.

I'd imagine Sagna or Jenkinson will play LB against Bayern.

Exactly. A deep run in the CL would be great but it's just not realistic. Without this move Santos was gonna have to play in another 3 or 4 league games and at least one FA cup tie, which would have been disastrous to our hopes of 4th or of winning the FA cup

Szczesny is more than capable as a keeper. He's still very young by goalkeeper standards.

He's just been too indecisive, and hesitant with his decisions. He also isn't good with balls in the air. And like Jumbeaux was saying, I don't feel he commands or organizes the defense well enough. He certainly is a good player, just the intangibles, vet leadership qualities are missing.

C'mon Spurs, sign a striker. I don't want to lose Hooper yet and you bastards are making me nervous.
