How about Chavis and the defense the last 3 or 4 games?

Wore down after a season of carrying the team. Not surprising really.

Defense best weapon is its offense

The defense hasn't played that great as of late, but they were on the field forever last night.

They also caused a turnover on the first play and we probably wouldn't have even scored 20 points in the game if not for the defensive turnover deep in Clemson territory. That's against a team giving up well over 400+ yards per game.

100 snaps on defense. Eight 3 and outs on offense, including a wasted final series. 'Nuff said.

Hard to play good d when you're on the field for 100+ plays.

Defense was doing a fine job keeping Clemson off the board until the end. Can't blame them. The offense can't say on the field.
