How many losses can Miles have every year to merit your support?

one loss?
two losses?
three losses?
Nick Saban averaged 3.2 losses per year while coaching LSU.

As many as our talent says we should have. There is no set-in-stone here.
In this years case, we should have had one - the only one that was even close to the players' fault - UF.

I'm making the point that most posters are appalled at having a 3 loss season and would do anything to have Saban back.
Yet, Saban averaged 3.2 losses per season while at LSU.

I'm sure most people don't mind losses. But it's the way we're losing that causes people to question their support.
I've been off the miles train since '09. I just feel like we can do better. At the same time however, I fully understand the need to keep the quality we have, instead of making a risky hire at this time.
Quite a frustrating scenario.

lol. Miles has lost at least 2 every year of his career minus the one time he had Mathieu to single handledly win 5 games.

Nick Saban took over a shite program. Miles didn't. You are dumb.

It is college football. Players screw up. Coaches screw up. It happens.

He also had to rebuild a program from the ground up.

Can you really not see the difference between the two mikel?

More than 3. Dude what is your deal. The man's team went 10-3 with two losses by a total of 5 pts. He knows he had the better talent last nite, and he knows he was outcoached, but u have to block people and it doesnt help to run into a QB WR combination that was special.Talking about being on the same page those two must be roommates. WOW kudos to the QB what a talent.that is one tough gritty man right there

How can you compare saban and miles? Seriously? Saban inherited a mess where Miles inherited a potential dynasty that he has fricked up year after year. I like Les as a person but he's an average coach at best. I'm sure I'll get all the quotes about his record but the talent is what has driven those nunbers. He is a good recruiter and that's where it stops. Quality wins were lacking this year with a very good team. His bowl record is inflated because we've played weaker opponents than oursleves in most of those games. Really think about it. (Notre Dame, Miami, GT, aTm) ,w've lost 3 of our last four bowl games to teams closer to our strength and thartsbeing generous with Penn State and Clemson. I'm just sick of it.

Saban when 9-3 the year after the NC. Would you have been screaming to fire him? That team was his team, not rebuilding to it.
The next year Miles went 11-2, significantly better than Saban's record the year before. I know, "it was Saban's team," even though Saban's team the year before was .750.

I don't think the cub-bard was dry for Saban. Dinardo did a good job of recruiting. The coaching by Dinardo and his D-Coordinator was his downfall, just like Stud the spud will be for Miles.

Done with Miles. The BCS game last year coupled with the turd of a gameplan and effort last night shows me Miles will never get us back to the top..

Miles ... 3 bowl losses in 4 years.
Saban ... looking at 2 NCs in a row.
No comparison!

I am not to happy with the coaches either, but Saban left Miles with some specialist talent but the line needed to be built. Saban left Miles with 11 or 13 recruit signing class. Saban was going and he knew it and dragged butt in recruiting.
