at least judging by the threads started on this board. i seem to recall an awful lot bitching and moaning about the selection to this game and fans claiming they didn't care about this meaningless bowl.

congrats to Clemson, it was a great win for their program. hopefully a lesson was learned by our players and coaching staff after this tough loss.

We got punked on national fricken TV on New Year's Eve.

Headline story on SportsCenter.

Center Stage: LSU incompentence.

Yeah ... it matters because we lost. We were supposed to win easily.

I'm glad someone started this thread. I was thinking the same thing. While I'm pretty disappointed in the outcome, people on here going nuts need to check themselves. No one wanted this game but now that we've lost it, it was such a big deal?

That does not happen with this staff. There is no such thing as a lesson learned. Only a renewed dedication to making the existing strategy work.

It's a big deal because of how LSU lost. Through incompetence.

We've been watching the "SOS" for about 5 years now.

It pisses me off that we lost, but hopefully 2013-2014 will be LSU's year. Purple and Gold to Pasadena!

This was part of the problem of playing in a third tier bowl against an ACC team. When you lose a game like this it can really hurt your program. Winning the Chick Fil A trophy wouldn't have meant anything, but losing it did.

Well done on starting this thread. I tried to stay off the rant last night, because I got sick of the threads that were started. I've spent the last month reading on here how shitty the bowl game is. LSU didn't sell its allotment of tickets. Someone started a thread asking if people were even going to watch the ballgame.

Then, we lose, our players look as interested to be there as all the fans, and we have people here bitching about the coaches not having them ready to play.

Perhaps this will cause some people to jump off the bandwagon. That would be nice, because this site is out of control with the nonsense posts. We have shitty, spoiled fans.

So we are bama now? We don't give credit to other teams when we lose? Clemson hung in there and persevered. They deserved it.

prior to the game there was a whole lot of complaining about the selection to this bowl. nobody seemed to give a shite and there was a lot of bravado about refusing to go to this game because we were above it. now that we have lost, it gives the appearance this game mattered.

forgive me, i tend to give the rant one voice, so i am not trying to single out you.

I really don't care that much about the game. But I have a huge problem that our coach is still terrible with clock management and down and distance playcalling.

says you.

FWIW, LSU was only favored by -3 when the line opened. And it only went to -6 at game time.
